A Song for You

I had fun trying this new technique I saw out of a magazine. I used a stamp from HL that I fell in love with. Stamped it on acetate, then on the back side of the acetate I painted in the heart with acrylic paint. It looks much better in person. It's so hard to photograph acetate.
The poem is called A song for you and is written be Allison Chambers Coxsey. Here is what the inside says in case you can't read it.
If music lived within the stars, then they would sing for you, A haunting, lyrical melody, that dances' cross the blue. A symphony of sparkling light, To illuminate the sky,
Filling the heavens with music, the song would sweetly fly. Across the distant galaxy, the song would spread its wings, to serenade the heavens, with joy filled melody. If music lived with the stars, across the night sky blue, the beauty of its harmony, would be a song of you.
I thought this went so well with the stamp that says: The magic of music warms the heart and soothes the soul.
Thanks for looking!

Love pail with candy

This bouquet I made for someone to give to his wife for Valentine's Day. Homemade candies, and a little cricut cuts make for a beautiful bouquet.

Valentine Cards for hubby and daughter

These cards are totally scraplifted from the message boards. Thank you to the ladies that designed them. I just thought that they were so beautiful I had to try one for myself.

Here is a couple of cards for any occassion!

I made these cards last night with the cricut design studio. The idea came from someone on the cricut message board who made a similar butterfly card. The forever love card was my idea with the hearts from Calligraphy Collection cartridge. These are simple cards to make if you have the design studio. Thanks for looking!!

Well we are stuck inside today!!

Today is a good scrapbooking, cardmaking day!! As you can see, I made the two cards below. We have lots of snow and ice on the ground and the kids have been home for the second day. LOL They're not too bad though, keeping busy with guitar hero and watching TV.

I'm sure many of you are doing the same thing. Let's just keep crafting!! Happy snow day!!
