A Song for You

I had fun trying this new technique I saw out of a magazine. I used a stamp from HL that I fell in love with. Stamped it on acetate, then on the back side of the acetate I painted in the heart with acrylic paint. It looks much better in person. It's so hard to photograph acetate.
The poem is called A song for you and is written be Allison Chambers Coxsey. Here is what the inside says in case you can't read it.
If music lived within the stars, then they would sing for you, A haunting, lyrical melody, that dances' cross the blue. A symphony of sparkling light, To illuminate the sky,
Filling the heavens with music, the song would sweetly fly. Across the distant galaxy, the song would spread its wings, to serenade the heavens, with joy filled melody. If music lived with the stars, across the night sky blue, the beauty of its harmony, would be a song of you.
I thought this went so well with the stamp that says: The magic of music warms the heart and soothes the soul.
Thanks for looking!
